finally got a chance to do more work on car

took all parts to get powder coated:
window frames
targa roll bar cover
E-brake and installed new hardware
shifter assembly
pedal assembly with all new hardware as well from pelican parts and got the bronze set for the bushings.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1527366022.jpg

I just bought a 79 and plan a restoration in the future so will look to this for inspiration!

You mentioned back in December you were going mostly stock except the bumpers. Bumpers are also on my replacement list. Do you know which ones or which vendor you are using? I am looking around for ideas.

all panels were stripped with airplane stripper down to bare metal

some pictures are upside down i dont know why they got uploaded this way. but also will be ordering brand new seal for whole car from pelican parts.

up date so after grinding down to metal and etch primer and then base coat

go over car again for some imperfections and we put first coat of clear on the car. there will be three to four coats of clear going on the car. we will wet sand in between coats
