Sorry, another 993 to 911sc brake question

993 rear brake caliper modification question

Hi guys

So I have another question re: modifying rear 993 calipers to fit on trailing arm of a 911sc.

I have a set of
1. 993 rear calipers waiting to be modified and
2. 964 rear calipers already modified with adaptors.

I was going off KTL’s cad diagram for measurements of where to place new holes on the ears of the caliper.

However I noticed the current 964 calipers with adaptors have the centre of the holes approx 15.5mm distance, (instead of 12.5mm)

In summary, I’m not sure which measurement to go with.

Any help, thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I vaguely recall that 12.5mm may be a bit low to fully fit the pad to a 930 309mm rotor.

When in doubt fit the pieces to the car and double check. Have you had the 964 rears mounted on the car w/ the 930 rotor? Did you check the pad for correct fit on the rotor. You are way ahead of most if you have a known good pattern to work from.
