seat recommendation

1970 911T
I'm 6' 175#

Building it into a street>track car. Interior is currently stripped. What racing buckets would you recommend - Recaro Pole Position, Sparco Evo2..etc. Using stock seat belts for now as no roll cage yet. Still need back seat until my son is old enough to sit up front. He joins me to CnC, not for track days. Thanks in advance.

I've got a set of fixed back Cobra's that I bought used from a forum member. I'm 6' and 155 so smaller butt width size. My cobra's are probably a bit wide if you wanted a tight fit but they are plenty supportive for my ability grade. Also my wife doesn't feel cramped if she rides shotgun. My car is street/track and I put the stock seats back in if there's a long stretch between track events or I want to go on a long driving trip. (something you can get good at). No need to overspend on seats for the track. Any set of what you list will be fine. Our club will not allow stock seat-belts and fixed back seats as I remember. You may need to get folding back to use your stock belts. On my car, the stock female seat-belt latch is attached to the seat frame.
Bottom line, check with your track day inspectors so you do whats allowed.

Thanks, I'll try that. Find a way to attach the female seat belt latch to the fixed back seat and then removable harness bar when needed.

Check your track day organization rules before you go that route. In my PCA region at least, if you use a harness you need to have a roll bar or cage for DE events. The reasoning is that with a harness, you can't "duck" in the event of a rollover so your head effectively becomes the "roll bar".

Thanks. I'll focus on making the stock belt work with my aftermarket seats first. Slowly finding solutions.
