Removing "Targa" script from rollbar
What is the best or proper way to remove the "Targa" script from the sides of the Targa rollbar without bending it?

You have to take the bar off. There are two nuts in each fender and maybe 10 philips head screws on the front covered by the rear seal. The script is held on by two speed nuts. Removal should be a two person job so you dont scratch the paint with the exposed studs.

Will removing the roll bar cover interfere with the rear widow seal?

You should be able to carefully work around it. If you press down on the back edge of the seal you should be able to expose the screws. Mine was not glued in that area.
Another thing to keep in mind is if the studs on the cover have rusted. They have been known to break if in bad condition.

No, the targa bar doesnt contact the window seal, the bar itself has a seal on its rear that contacts the window
Hit the studs with a good penetrating oil a day or two before trying to remove them!

I had one more thought about removal. There are two plastic screws on each side where the ski racks mount. You will probably want to order four new from pelican since they will likely break.
