Alusil or nikasil?

My 911S is one of the earliest Gs, with a build date from october 73.
The cilinders must be original as they have a date stamp of 8.73
Are they nikasil or alusil?

My guess is Nikky, but one never knows. You have to look at them.

on the out side near the area where the cylinder seals with the engine block the cylinders ID. Alusil's have a symbol that looks like a $ sign. It is in fact a "K" over [on top] an "S" for the manufacture Kobin Smitt.
Nikasil will have the raised letters "MAHLE" cast into the cylinder.

IIRC, Nikasil cylinders have 11 fins, Alusil have 10.

Alusil or Nikasil ? % of how many?
