				 | Need help with Oil Gauge issue
1985 Targa with 64,000 miles. The dipstick shows full but the gauge constantly stays in the red. Where should I start and what next? Thanks

Check the connection to the tank level sender hasn't come off as its a simple spade connector and is also subject to mud and slush and debris thrown up by the back wheel. The sender is located in the side of the oil tank and can be access from behind the RHS rear wheel. Also check the earth lead connection is intact and functioning too while you are there. Removing the wheel makes access a whole lot easier. | ||

Welcome to the forum, posting a picture of your car is sort of a tradition. Check this thread for a lot of info- unfortunately the photos have been held hostage by the photo hosting site. Oil Level Sending Unit: How to Service / Repair / Maintain
