Long hood resto hood foam?
Almost done with the metal work on the 73.5 targa.
I need to close a few holes in the nose of the hood, and found what looks like urethane foam in between the skin and the frame of the hood. Anyone seen this before, or dealt with it?

I know it’s been a while, but did you find out anything on this foam, removing it or replacing it after repairs. I’m in a similar spot now and found this (and a similar post on EarlyS) while searching. I’m still digging mine apart and trying to figure how big a patch I’m going to have to make and what I have to do to put it back together
