Question what is the value of a 3.0

what do you think my andial built 3.0 is worth with very very low miles? the motor is not even 2 yeas old, still a baby!

i think i might have caught the 3.6 bug... just not sure if i can make the numbers work.

Depends...

What kind of build did Andial do on it? Stock or modified?

the motor is built as a stock 78 motor with the exhaust backdated with ssi's, carrera tensioners, etc.

the runners have been extrude honed.

Having gone the Andial route a few years ago, I know that your rebuild wasn't cheap and it's done right. For anyone who knows what you have and what it would take to have the same job done on their engine, purchasing yours would be a good deal even at a fairly high price. Given the fact that they don't have to wait two weeks for the work to be done and they can sell their motor after the swap, your motor makes perfect sense, once again, even at a fairly high price. I would give you your invoice amount if I personally were in need of that engine.

My guess is $3500.00 - $4000.00 if sold complete with exhaust and injection. Although its probably worth more. There just seems to be alot of 3.0 motors on the market which in turn set the values in that range.

thanks for the info!

i think 3500 - 4000 is a low range for what i see high mileage 3.0 motors sell for here in california.

now i have to decide if i want to take the plunge and sell the motor. to 3.6 or not to 3.6 that is the question!
