Electromotive Engine Controls

Guys.A friend of mine is selling this.My build is a 3.2ss.I was going to go to carbs, then this flagged up.Now,Ive now idea or experience with these units. The set up looks complete although used.Is it worth ditching carbs and going with this set up.bearing in mind, I wont be twin plugging.I assume the control unit is changeable
I can own this for approx $2700.Was originally used in USA now in Europe.
It appears complete as far as I can tell.

"Porsche 911 Rsr RS ITB’s Stacks Ecu Twin Plug Rsr Rs Race Engine Management. From a 2.8 rsr race engine.

Ecu is Tec3R by Electromotive engine controls

Coils are Electromotive as well

Itb’s are TWM 45mm with their respective manifolds

I get what you mean. However for the most part, its only the control unit(ecu?) thats electronic. The rest is pretty simple engineering.New this is over 7k.Even if the ecu needs a fix, it may be worth going with.Apparently no one with experience will comment!

i have tried both ways: pmo 50 mm carbs vs. the tec3r with twin plugs in a 3.2 race motor.

by far, i would say that the carbs are better, easier to assemble tune and more trouble free.... not much difference in throttle response or top end..

plus , quite a few glitches/gremlins in the tec3r system....

Sir thankyou! I will consider that option buried and continue with carburettors!
