Garage
What is the light in the lower-right corner of the HVAC controls?

Factory or aftermarket?

My best guess-An aftermarket alarm indicator.

aftermarket -- have the same thing on mine -- it ties to a small circuit that causes it to blink whenever the car's turned off - a FAKE alarm

I have the same thing, it was part of a real after-market alarm my car had. I recently removed all the alarm components. If you're curious, look very carefully at the wiring in your front trunk. Start at the fuse panel. If you see bundles of black insulated wire, zip-tied together, running to various places... You've got an alarm.
