Metal valves vs. rubber - opinions?
About to have tires mounted on Fuchs for my '79 Targa .. just my w/end drive, no track etc. Any thoughts metal vs. rubber valves?

I like my metal, mounted ones. Easier to put the air chuck on since they don't bend and flex all around.

where does one get metal valves/stems? I prefer them too, but the ones I have came with my summer wheels and I'd love to replace the rubber stems still currently on my winter wheels

I'd vote for short rubber ones. Corrosion from the dissimilar metals can cause leaks between the wheel and valve stem.

I have these. No issues in two years mounted on Euromeisters.
