Q: 2.4 cis car with 2.7 cis will the 2.4 fuel filter and accumulator work.
I am installing a 2.7 cis in a 73.5 cis 2.4 car. Does anyone know if the 2.7 will run with the 2.4 fuel accumulator and fuel filter set up? I am trying to keep that part of the car "original" unless absolutely required to change over to 74 + set up.

I am thinking yes with maybe some slight re-configuration of plumbing.

FWIW, the 1973.5 CIS fuel filter is NLA.
You would have needed to go to the later setup anyway. Should be no problem.

It's likely already been retrofitted with updated parts. I was able to finagle a later larger Bosch filter that was a turbo part back when I was running CIS. More capacity is only real advantage. Lot of configurations possible.
