reversal of the CSV and AFS safety switch
My issue is difficulty starting after is sits a few days (hours are not an issue).
After several days it starts more quickly if I move the sensor plate up a tad for a couple of seconds and hear the injectors whine. Since my fuel pump will squirt fuel in the "key in on position" as soon as I lift the sensor plate, this tells me the AFS is causing the fuel pump relay to allow the pump to run and it must be the correct plug. Or so I think. I.E. the plugs (CSV and AFS) are not swapped! Comments

Check your fuel pressures.
Especially cold initial pressure at the WUR. Disconnect the wire to it so it doesn’t heat up right away.

Just want to be sure it’s not a silly mistake (pretty darn sure I got them right). Before I tear into it further. So I’m clear, if these plugs were CSV and AFS swapped, stranger things would happen?

Yes, you would have no ever voltage to the CSV if they were swapped.
Also applying 12 v to the safety switch when cranking the starter. Simple test, does the fuel pump constantly run with Ignition on? If not, does lifting the plunger make it run? If so, you have the plugs correct.

No the FP is off with the key in run position and the lifting of the plunger makes it run. So, I'm off to a different solution to my cold start issue. (well cold is relative when it's 90 degrees out).
