1987 Carrera Relays

I have a 1987 Carrera. In the front trunk compartment there are the round relays---black and red. In doing my research I learned that the red relay should be used for the fuel pump and the rest are pretty interchangeable in terms of black or red colors. However, when I researched the relay diagrams none of them are designated for the fuel pump, with that relay being under the driver seat.

Can you guys tell me what the color order should be for the round relays in the front trunk. Let me know which red and black go where. I know this differs for each model car and so I need the outlay for a 1987 911.

If anything please let me know which one of the round relays goes to the fuel pump

Thanks all

DME relay.

I don't think there is a FP relay on the 3.2 cars.

The DME relay under the seat is used.

And the red relays contain a "squelching" resistor.

The only difference from the black ones.

I have this off my 1987 Targa which could be diff than yours. Note the area with a red star that shows the reference to the Fuel Pump.

That is your fuel pump fuse.

You do not have a round fuel pump relay.

The DME relay runs your fuel pump.
