Post Cleaning Carrera injectors

I've read that Berrynam's B-12 Chemtool can be used to clean fuel injectors. The procedure is to place the injectors in a bath of B-12 in an ultrasonic cleaner at 120 degrees for 6-8 hours. The B-12 can says that the product will remove paint. The Carrera ('86) injectors look painted to me. Has anyone used this technique successfully to clean Carrera injectors? Did the B-12 remove the paint from the injectors? Is this a problem? I'm wary of plugging the injectors with dissolved paint residue. I suppose it would be possible to do a two-step process: soak, dump, re-soak in clean B-12.

Regards. Brian
