Any new ideas on removing distributor?

Replaced the 0 ring, was rather tight going back in, but found out now that I need to remove it because I am off by a couple of degrees. I have read that some people have used a crow bar, Lady Foot pry bar and some sort of cable with a slide hammer to jank it out.
I was wondering if anyone has tried something else that worked well?

That was going to be my next step, and go and purchase a Lady Foot, but a big screw driver did the job. I was concerned because it was a B to get it to seat and then when I had to remove it I thought it would be harder because of the cramped quarters. I guess it came out without a hitch is because it was well lubed going it.

I knew someone would make a comment and how long would it take. I wanted to put a funny face on the end, but was in a rush.
