I have a 1977 Porsche 911. The VIN# is 9117212557.

Can anyone help me find out the build date?

Hello and welcome to the forum! To get full details about your build date, you would have to reach out to Porsche with your vin # - they'll send you a Certificate of Authenticity which will have it on there.

I can help some.
My vin is 9117202541, only 16 cars away from yours! You must have a Targa.

The sticker on my drivers side door jamb shows a build date of 04/77, so in April of 1977.

Is the sticker still there on your car?

None of my COAs have the build date on them.
