You used to be able to buy them from the dealers .
Since I’ve been over here I have used circle porsche at Long Beach , and upto now they’ve done a good job for me . They have an internet parts store , and the counter guys match that price and give a Pca discount and the usual “this guy is crazy” discount .... I’ve been working on 4 projects since I’ve been here (from 73 to 2009) and they’re car guys , so appreciate the crazy guys working on air-cooled cars ... |

That’s why I like to visit the dealer , they’ll spend time to get them all off the shelf to compare if pet doesn’t throw up a part number .
I hate Newport Beach porsche . Hate them with a passion . Even though they’re the nearest I drive all the way to longbeach to circle . I the past circle porsche have looked up a service-bulletin from around 10 years ago to get me the right part number .. But as they’re only a couple of miles away and maybe my bitterness was uncalled for , I actually went to Newport Beach a couple of weeks ago for the bolts that hold on a 997.2 gt3rs front bumper . They told me it had no bolts holding it on ... I bought 5 997 bolts for about 50c each and luckily , when I drove home they fitted ... And ..... breathe ..... Sorry I couldn’t help . |

I've successfully purchased many a difficult part by locating the correct part number in the Porsche PET catalog specific to my year, then paste the number into Pelican's part number search. If they don't stock it - Pelican has bought it from Porsche. Has worked quite well many times.
