Bosch Distributor Rebuild Manual with specs anyone ?

Hi all,
I' looking for a rebuilding manual for my distributor.
My dizzy, 1973 2.4 T (0231169008), has too much axial play, 1,8 mm insteadd of 0.5 mm as per spec.

I bought an Original Bosch rebuilding kit (Bosch Part Number 1-237-010-007)
As in photo below it contains different shims, fiber spacers and C-clips.

Before dismantling it I'd like to have a guide for the overhauling/rebuilding process that will guide me to the "right place" to insert "right shims", how to check for free play and correct/official free play specs.

Can anyone please help ?

I've carefully read those threads:

distributor lube...

Distributor service (Clean and lube) real easy without removing the pinion gear!

83 SC Ignition Distributor Bushing Replacement

but none of this seems to exactly go to into the rebuilding process with the Bosch rebuilding kit.

Hope someone can dig into for help

Here is the rebuilding kit

When I did mine I just took pics as I disassembled it. Then I replaced the old washers with the like size new ones from the kit. I used a shim gauge to make sure I had no more than .005" of axial play. To test for run-out you can put the housing in your vice (GENTLY!) and attach a magnetic gauge base to the vice. When you rotate the distributor shaft I look for less than +- .005" on the gauge.

The only thing that is not included in the kit are the little red plastic bits that help the springs and weights attach at the ends of the springs. DON'T break any of those! You cant buy them anywhere! Would be a good 3D printing project

Great question so subscribed - could REALLY use a set of the plastic bits described above as mine were about crumbling on disassembly.

I'm not familiar with CAD, but this seems a good idea... How can I help?
