8 speaker sound system
Window sticker on my 89 Carerra says 8 speaker sound system. I count 6. Where are the other two.
I see: 2 on the back deck (under the rear windshield) 2 woofers on the doors 2 tweeters on the doors Where are the other two? Chris |

I have seen several that have 3 speakers in each door...a sub, mid, and tweeter. Maybe yours had subs?

there is often a tweeter mounted in the center of a mid-range that you never know is there.

Does the rear deck have a woofer and tweeter under each grill?

I threw the old, original speakers, in the trash. I believe the ones in the back were regular two way speakers. The fronts are base only and tweeter. Kind of deceptive if Porsche calls a two way speaker two speakers.
