Car starts and runs fine. Then after 20 miles the interior of the car feel like its on full heater blast. Engine cuts off and will not start until 30 minutes of cool down. All interior air ducts are off. Is this heat from the engine causing a vapor lock? The ca r is a 1974 2.7. Thanks Roger

cd or coil.
coil is cheaper and if that is not it you have a spare to carry. sounds like the heat is on
