I wasn't referring to your car. I meant it in general.

The GT2 wing is really too big on the street - even if the car is flared. I wanted this car to look like my favorite racing cars so the wing was added. This was BEFORE I started seeing them on ricers. The 3.6RS isn't so gaudy.

Hey Bones, I love your car. Where did that front bumper/spoiler come from? Steve

Bones 05-15-2003 10:39 AM

Hi Steve
The front and rear bumpers are used standard C2 bumpers , (from a UK breaker) . The front fibreglass splitter came from http://www.clubautosport.co.uk . The side skirts and fishtails are new Porsche items . The mirrors are ex 993 the Rear wing and engine lid are fibreglass 993 RS 3.8 replicas and pretty good .Though not as well fitting or likely to be as long lasting as he real thing . Finished up nicely though . I bought the wing and lid from http://www.*****************
Let me know if you want some advice on fitting it is not straight forward at all .

Any one who thinks their 3.8 wing is too gaudy I could be talked into taking it off your hands

I miss that car, too.

The tail has gotten even bigger, though:
