1973 911 - Seat Wiring

Hi guys-
have been restoring my 911 and backdating to ensure all features of the 911 are in working order. Here is a picture of a wiring harness that connects to the seats of the car through the dash.

I am assuming it has something to do with the seatbelt light and buzzer.

As you can see mine are completely fried, HOWEVER I can't seem to find them anywhere...anyone have info on this???

Thanks!

Contact timmy2 I have the same issue with my 73 .
Wires look the same .
I did not initiate the work but remember he would develop some wires for this .
These cords were more like an old telephone curled wire that stretches and springs back.
Let us know how this goes as will follow your solution

They are for your seat belt warning light. When I went to a later seat, they lost their purpose. Pulled the bulb out of the dash light and never looked back.

I’ve searched and haven’t found a suitable replacement for the coiled wire.
I even ordered some different types and nothing matched up.

Of course one could. I’ve done it for others.
