993 C4 engine in SC?

I'm considering the installation of a 1995 993 C4 engine in an SC. I believe that the engine itself fits in the engine bay but my worry is the gearbox and I would really appreciate your input on this.

Could I match the 993 engine to the SC 915 gearbox?

Would it be preferable to use the 993 6-speed G64 gearbox by converting it to rear wheel drive only?

You will need a conversion flywheel and conversion wiring harness to connect the 993 motor to the SC trans and chassis, these are straight forward and available from several places. The trans bellhousing will need to be notched for the flywheel sensor.

The rear motor hanger bracket and engine surround sheet metal will need to be modified a little

Biggest issue is exhaust, stock could be used but is small, 1. 5/8 to 1 3/4" headers are available but expensive, stock 993 headers can be used but plumbing to a muffler is awkward.
stock six=ze 915 racing clutch and conversion f/w showing f/w sensor

3.2 Carrera trans will have the notch oe

SC and earlier will need to be notched

B&B 1 3/4" headers 964 heat crossover on bottom stock RS heat downpipe on top, Flowmaster muffler(loud)

Modified tin
