Tire size question for a narrow body 911

Can I run 225-50-15 on 15x7 Fuchs at all four corners? I'm looking at Yokohama A023R tires.

I'm also wondering how much negative camber I might have to dial in.

Anyone run tires this size on their narrow bodies?

Thank you.

I have a little plumpy 205/55/16" on a 7" RIAL...soo, i think 225 tires would look a little...well odd..

Depends on what 911 you have. The factory used 7x16 wheels with 225/50x16 tires so 225/50x15 on 7x15 should be possible although they'd probably look better on 8x15. As for tire rubbing it depends on the model. It's my understanding that 225/50x15 can (or perhaps will) rub on early cars.

205/50R16 is about the largest without custome offsets. I have 205/50 on 16" X 7" Fuchs in the rear od my narrow 76S and the left side rubs on the fender. Nothing a rolled lip wont fix.

I ran 225/50-15s on 7x15 Cookie Cutters on all four corners of my '76 911 before I added SC flares. The best advice I can give is to find someone with that tire and wheel combo and test fit them on your car. That's the only true way to know whether they'll fit or not due to the many variables involved.

FWIW, on my car I was running 22/29mm torsion bars and approx -1 to -1.5 degrees of camber all around and had also rolled the fender lips.

IMHO, the 225/50-15 set-up was the best performing set-up I ran before SC flares and I tried alot of things....

I tried on a pair of 225x50x16's up front with no luck. It is going to depend on your wheel offsets.
