2.7 Mahle P & C tech info

Does anyone have any info about deciphering the lasered markings on newer Mahle P & C sets? This is a recent set that came in individual boxes - all the other sets I’ve used have come in a box of 6, though it’s been a few years since I last installed a set. The pistons are all lasered “AB” on the crown, in 2 different sizes. Additionally there are 2 numbers, one of which seems to be the weight in grams (2 are marked 500, 4 are 502). Under each 50x number is a 4-digit number that could be production date (?): 2 are 0215, 4 are 0316. (I bought these in late 2016). I’m more concerned about the cylinders, i.e. height. They all have either an “A” or a “B” marked on the casting below the fins but above the skirt. There are 3 A’s and 3 B’s. There are also 2 numbers etched on either side of each letter, one above the other. All the A’s have 0 over 3 on the left side and 6 over 11 on the right. 2 B’s are 0 over 2 left, and 5 over 2 right. The other B has 0 over 3 left and 6 over 11 on the right. Anybody have any info on what the numbers/letters mean?
