Ken,

I had ten (10) participants per group in my last Engine Rebuilding in 2018. I found that a smaller size group would be more effective than a bigger group. To answer your question, I am doing this as a passion and not a business endeavor. And I will conduct the classes as of today.

We have 3 more months to go, exactly the the same time we had for the 1st. Engine Rebuilding Classes. I am confident that there will be more participants signing up. If we don’t fill the 8 seats, that’s no problem. The show must go on.

The main objective of the sessions is to help the participants overcome their fear and anxiety about 911 engine rebuilding projects. The two-day hands on experience tearing and assembling a 911 motor is an exhilarating moment and you would want for more.

No problem. We have several people who could not make it in September and hope to join us next time (April 2022). Your seat is reserved. See you in springtime.

Jeff,

If you can not join us this fall, then see you next spring (2022). There are plenty of seats available. We will have fun in the fall and have enough people to go ahead. Looking forward to meet everyone in person. Thanks.

Al,

It feels great meeting people again. In just a short week, my wife and I attended a first communion for my youngest grandchild and a funeral service for a friend. It feels strange greeting and hugging people without a mask on your face.

It has been over a year since we had socialized with friends and acquaintances, all travels local and abroad were cancelled. Things are going back to NORMAL in this country. One thing I like to do next is to go to the PNW and personally meet some remarkable guys like you, JW, Dennis P., etc. At this side of the East Coast, I have Mike Bruns, Bruce Abbot, etc. on my wish list. I already met Fred Apgar, Ian Carpenter, Len Cummings, etc. plus several names I can not remember at this moment.

You guys were always there when I needed help. One short PM and the response was immediate. This is a great community and happy to be able to contribute and give something back. I am proud to be member of the Pelicanparts community. Thanks.

Ken,

You are giving me too much credit. I am not a trained Porsche mechanic nor an expert engine rebuilder. What I have to offer is sharing my success in Engine Rebuilding and hundred of hours learning and understanding the system. As an experienced engineer/scientist in my previous life, R&D is a second nature to me.

My primary goal in this undertaking is to share and show to the participants what to avoid and prevent mistakes that could be detrimental to the project. Demonstrate a better and efficient way to do things. Most of the attending participants are good DIY’ers but have the fear and anxiety about 911 engine rebuilding.

You will enjoy and have fun during the two-day sessions. And go home with confidence and a positive outlook towards engine rebuilding. No more fear or anxiety lingering in your thought. You will be ready for the challenge.
