Hey Tony, can you put me down for April 28-29?
I registered previously for a class that was cancelled. I will send you an email as well. Thanks. |
Tony, please put me down for April 28-29 barring any border restrictions for us Canucks.
Will be flying in from the west coast - anyone have a recommendation for places to stay around there? Hoping to catch the Hershey swap meet as well. Rent a car? Carpool? |

The former Hershey Swap meet has moved to Carlisle. See you on the 28th. 🤞🤞🤞 Johan |
Tony, can you sign me up for April 28-29? Can I bring my own 2.7 case? :)

PM me your information (full name & email address) for my record you are already listed. BTW, it is not a good idea to use your motor in the workshop. You will understand the logic after attending the sessions. I’ve been offered by many if they could use their motors for the workshop and my reply was “I would not recommend it”. Right now, I have 4 motors available for the workshop and another one coming in next month for a top/bottom rebuild. It is getting crowded in my garage. Thanks. Tony |
Thanks Tony, I was only kidding about the motor for I'm sure the same reasons. And I'm Cerakoting the case so more care than normal will be needed during assembly.
Have a Merry Christmas! |
Merry Christmas Shaun and Tony! Frank

Hi Tony. I'm signed up for April 28-29 and I'm wondering if there is anything I should do to arrive as prepared as possible. I saw mention somewhere in the pages of posts something about "the Dempsey book". I assume it's this:
https://www.amazon.com/Rebuild-Modify-Porsche-Engines-1965-1989/dp/0760310874 Should I buy and read that before the class? Something different? Just show up? Thanks! |
Wayne Dempsey’s Engine Rebuilding Book.......
Quote:
David, Wayne’s book contains a lot of information that would be helpful to both beginners and advanced engine rebuilders. Get one and you won’t regret buying one. All I ask to prospective participants is to come to the workshop with an open mind. You won’t be an expert in engine rebuilding after 2 days of classes but I will assure you that you would be more prepared to tackle your next engine rebuild. The fear and anxiety you have now will be gone at the end of the two-day workshop and would have a totally different outlook about 911 engine rebuild project/s. Reading all these technical books is good but there is no substitute to actual hands on experience disassembling/assembling a 911 motor. Looking forward to meet you guys in the spring of 2022. Stay safe and healthy. Tony |

Happy New Year to all.
I sent a request last year when the classes were full, is it possible to see updated schedule to see if any new openings fit my schedule? Thanks |
