				Quarter Window Installation - 1970

Hi, I'm installing the pop-out quarter windows on my car. Is there a gasket that goes between the window frame and the B-pillar where the 4 window frame bolts attach to the B-pillar?? Also, while looking at the factory manual, it looks like there is a rubber strip that attaches down the front and outside of the B-pillar which is in addition to the window seal. Does that make sense to anybody? Any other quarter window installation tips? Thanks, nick 1970 911E coupe (still restoring) | ||

There is no gasket around the two 2-bolt tabs at the B-pillar. The gasket for the pop-out window incorporates an extended piece that goes between the door seal and the B-pillar. The other pieces are inside, not outside. No real tricks to this installation, other than to anticipate the windows will be hard to close, since the replacement rubber is a bit oversized.
