Anyone seen this type of air con control unit before

Hello all,

Not sure if this is an early aftermarket air conditioner control unit fitted to earlier cars, might not have even come from a Porsche.

Any and all advice or comments greatly appreciated.

That looks identical to what was installed in the Audi 100 aftermarket A/C kits back in the 1974 time frame. The kits were made by VPC, or Volkswagen Products Corp.
As I recall there was no factory air at that time.

Thanks rsscotty appreciated the info any idea if they were used in any Porsche models at the time

They may have used the same in the early 924 come to think of it.
