Hi all,
This link expands from my previous Q45 or Discovery?? link. If I'm gonna get a preowned car (no SUV at this point), I would definitely opt for an extended warranty. I would need to get one on my own if I don't get a "certified" vehicle. Online companies like Warranty By Net and others like it seem to be pretty reasonable. Here's the question.......ARE THEY RELIABLE? I mean, do they really cover what they say they do. Most are very extensive and seem easy to use with regard to coverage, as I don't have to go "out of pocket" at all. Does anyone have any experience with these types of warranties not purchased directly from a dealer? Are their personnel difficult when coverage becomes an issue. Anyone with current warranties are encouraged to make recommendations on their companies, and whose a good choice or not. thanks so much fellas. JON '85 targa and a mystery car to be named later |

Jon- don't do it! Either get a certified FACTORY x-tended warranty -or- call your insurance company; they will also sell you an extended warranty and you will NOT have complications with either of the above.
