Steering rack service

Hi All,
I'm restoring a 71 911T. I'm refurbishing the steering rack and are installing turbo tie rods.

How do I service the rack properly? I'm not planning to remove any bearings at this point. Just want to remove old grease and lube it with new.

Thanks for any input,
Jörgen Forssling

Hello Jörgen - take a look at the link below to an earlier thread where this is discussed. There is a helpful diagram that should help you with the service. Hope this helps and best of luck!
