Decklids
Going through a parts collection I acquired. There are several 911 pieces. I have these 2 decklids I would like to id, I assume the silver one on left is early correct? And the green one is the one used directly after? I'm not a big Porsche guy, but have a nack for finding them and parts it seems.

the green one is harder to tell but other than al vs steel the big differences was made in '74 when the lights were moved from the lid to the bumper thru '73 they also used separate numerals close to the trailing edge w/ individual foles for them, later ones moved the tgs higher and eventually changed to glue on ~'84

I had the silver one type on all my 1966 and 1967 cars, both 911 and 912. The grill for those is a far nicer piece than the later ones. It unscrews.
After a closer look, the silver one may appear to be the real early type with the closely spaced holes for the single Porsche script and the angled 911 or 912 at the bottom right. All my 1966 cars had that type. My 1967 cars had the same decklid and grill but had the "spaced out" Porsche individual letters at the bottom and non-angled 911 / 912 script just below the center of the split hole.

The silver split opening was used on 911 and 912's through mid-year 1968.
There was a mid '68 through '69 only deck lid (not shown). The green is a '70 and on lid but can't be exactly identified without looking at the under side. There were several variances to the '70-'89 lid.
