Question coverlay vs. dashtops.com?

Just wondering if there's a difference in quality, etc. Dashtops.com seems to have more colors available--I'd like to get something that comes close to matching the cork interior in my '77 911S

Thanks

Kris,
I put a coverlay in my car, it looks ok. not great but certainly better than before.
The coverlay are paintable. so you could match the color and amount of gloss/matte required.
When installing it tells you to put something heavy like phonebooks on it.
I found it almost impossible to stop the phonebooks falling off the dash. I used bags of lead shot, worked well.

I've looked at dashtops.com too and was also curious as to the quality...

Why don't you spend a few more more bucks and just replace it with an original? You can get a used decent dash for a good price from a Pcar auto wrecker if you shop around. It's not that hard of a job to replace and popping the wind screen is not that big of a deal either.
I've yet to see an overlay that fit well they sort of look like Michael Jackson's Plastic surgery. JMO

Well, it's plastic, but mine fit great and the color match (midnight blue) was nearly perfect. A few clamps and wedges held it down while the silicon set to hold it---no real problems. All in all, for less than $100 bucks, it's not at all bad.
