Tire Talk

Searched around but couldn’t really find what I’m looking for.

Looking for vintage look/style tires with modern performance.
Narrow body car with 6” and 7” x 15 Fuchs.
I’m assuming 205/60/15 front
And 215/60/15 rear.
Recommendations?

check out the porsche recomended tire list -- they show that pirelli has reissued both the cn36 and p6000 in porsche-specific 15" sizes https://files.porsche.com/filestore/download/usa/none/classic-galleryanddownloads-tyreapproval-summertyres/default/a213e665-33a4-11e6-9225-0019999cd470/List-of-summer-tires-for-vintage-cars-and-recent-classics.pdf

Pirelli CN36 is available in the more usual 185/70 & 215/60 x15 sizes, P6000 in both 185/70 & 195/65 & 215/60 x15, not a lot of 205/60 x15 unless you want all season tires

However it's been my experience that the 215/60 on a 7ET23.3 will burn the paint a few inches up into the wheel arch w/o SC/Carrera flairs

I'd suggest a shorter rear tire
maybe something like Direzza DZ102 195/55 & 205/50, these shorter lighter tires will also exact a much smaller inertial & gearing penalty than the taller tires
