I would contact that police department or the DMV equivalent down under and get that record.

Intake runner #4 appears to have taken a beating !

Intake runner 4 had a bracket where the air compressor was mounted. Looks like whoever fitted it after market did a **** terrible job. Which I turn what caused the damage to the car.
Aircon has all now removed.

Hey spoken to a few people in Adelaide recently who are interested he may be one of them.

Here’s my blog on the car.

https://hellblau82.wordpress.com

It’s a 911 sc 3.0 1982
No service books may of been damaged in the front end fire from the aircon evaporator.

Not the original engine was replaced under Victorian insurance with another which I’m trying to dig up history and specifications on.
It’s looking like it is an exactly the same stock 3.0sc engine that was delivered with these cars.

CIS Bosch ID locations........

Remove the air filter cover and you will find the Bosch ID numbers on aluminum tags. For the WUR, 0 438 140 xxx, the last 3 digits (xxx) identify a specific WUR. These numbers are stamped on top of the WUR. Clean and wipe the top to get a better visual. Thanks.

Jeeze, talented, multi-talented.

The prep' and paintwork sure came out well. I salute you for figuring out the wiring. Yes, it's been a journey. Well done.

Thanks Bill, never worked on a car in my life. I actually wasn't very fond of them at all growing up dad was a used car salesman our front yards were always full of cars as kids. old mercs bmw's. I did grasp a good eye for detail and being technical with Audio visual systems helped me understand and learn euro wiring diagrams.

And I was somewhat emotional driven for him to see it restored to make him proud which we got there 95% of the way.

I think in a way he was giving me a challenge to see what I could do and I quote him 'I don't think this car would not of come even close if I had given it to someone else to fix"
