How to remove electrical connectors
I know this sounds like a dumb question but what is the proper way to remove connectors from the CHT connection or the idle control valve? I just want to be very careful that I do not break the connector. I do not see clearly how to disconnect them. Thanks, Nick

There is a thin metal clip that closes onto the connector. You can use a screwdriver to pull the clip up and then pull the connector off.

I just use a screw driver between the top of the plug (female) and the terminal (male) that it's plugging into to and just very gently twist the screw driver to lever it off. You have to be careful because the heat cycles over 30 years have made them quite brittle.
