do they go round the stacks?

Yes the passenger side plug wires go thru the throttle bodies and use the same rubber brackets that the fuel lines use.

I have personally not seen the braided spark plug wires used on MFI motors....those are usually seen on the CIS motors I think.
I could be wrong.
I've had two of the MFI motors and they always had the Beru style spark plug wires.
If you google MFI motors, you will see some with the braided lines?

Did not know they were beru.
The wires i removed were braided with the ground lugs at the coil bracket. And car was in storage from 1984 til i bought it.
Do berus have shields too?

The only shielded wiring is the coil to CDI box wiring on my car.
You would see the ground lug at the coil bracket and a ground connector on the CDI box as well.

My understanding is that Beru is the go to spark plug wire for MFI motors although some people use the Clewett wiring as well.
