Help with fitment of "R" rear tail lights
Silly me.
I thought these would just screw in... The R housings are kind of pinched. They have to be spread to fit the opening. Also they are not flush with the body work/fender area. I have some ideas but wondering how others have attained a nice fit for the FG R housings? In summary they need to be forced / spread and shimmed out to match the body work about 1/4". I will get some pics if it would help.

Closure
I used a piece of ~ 1/4 inch rubber on each side and glued to the light opening with 3M. Its kind of like the original gasket. That caused a slight stretch to the FG light housing and it lined up very well! Phew, much easier than I thought.
