Headlight and wiper realy question
Is this the head light relay. Behind the left head light. Just sorted my seized wiper motor but it works regardless of ign switch position. I believe its fed via this relay. So I want to start there.

Horn relay
This is the Wherle relay for the horns, used on 65-68 911 and 912's

Headlight relay
The headlight relay is grey (also Wehrle , part number W-598A/S) and located on the left, above the pedal cluster.

The window wiper should be working regardless of the ignition switch, its the red wire on the 4th fuse and always powered.

Well that's what its doing. My bad. I just assumed it would be acc and on only via ign switch.

Headlight relay? Unless one was installed by the previous owner the headlights do not switch through a relay. Headlight relays are a good idea. I have them but I had to install them myself aftermarket.

What year/car is this? The later cars don't have headlight relays...I would be surprised to see one on an earlier car.

Its a 68. My wiring diagram shows one. My wiper motor is powered thru it. Makes sense as the lights are not ign switch sensitive

Headlight relay
Maybe " headlight relay" is not the right word for it, its actually the " lichthupenumshalt relais" or "relay for light signal" (No.43 on the original Porsche diagram)
