Help - Converting to 964 Spoiler on an SC
If I add a mechanical 964 tail to my SC
I know I need to alter the hinges, but ... 1) Do I need to relocate the AC condenser or can I put it in the same location 2) If I need to relocate it what's the best option? Thanks

Yes, you must remove the rear engine lid condensor. It won't clear the retracted spoiler.
The best option is to replace it with the underbelly condensor. The set-up we used on Jack Olsen's car works fantastically. The underbelly condensor is also pretty damn durable. It's survived pylon hits at 100+ mph, and a nasty off through deep mud into a wall at Laguna Seca. It also managed to drop the outlet temps to 37 degrees on a 90 degree day, so it will be a worthwhile improvement, not a compromise to fit the decklid.

Thanks... I was looking at the Griffith site just now, nice looking stuff. If anyone has one( A complete 964 decklid ) for sale let me know. I thought I had one won on E-Bay.."thought" being the operative word. I searched the Pelican classifieds with no luck. Thanks Jeff C
