engine over heating,new t-stats , cleaned and resealed cooler,timing correct, gets hot just idling,

Did you install the t-stat the right way around? IIRC the channels only align if the t-stat is oriented in the right direction. Otherwise the openings in the t-stat face the solid side of the housing. Oil won’t flow through in that situation.
