Gorgeous car AND color Ryan...

Please tell us more about the CSF Oil Cooler. Is it AN or M30?

Cost?

Len

Yeah that's a nice unit. Looks thick and sturdy like a Fluidyne. How is it mounted?

Len, it has M22x1.5 ports. Nice alternative to the really expensive B&B cooler or the Setrab & Mocal 172 coolers.

Another nice alternative is the Earl's dual pass 60 row cooler with male AN-16 ports

CSF's website navigation kinda stinks and you can't find it directly from their links. It's part number 8110

We fab'd a couple brackets. Nothing crazy.

I'll get pics next time the bumper is off.

Thank you gentlemen. What a great source of info is within this site.

Thinking of using the A/C crash bar as a support as I have done on the RS bumper front coolers.

You're welcome. Agreed the A/C condensor bar is a great solution to provide lower support for the cooler

Looks great. I bet a shroud to prevent the air from travelling into the bumper would bump the efficiency up even more.

I don't see the point of carbon fiber, other than for aesthetics here, but the principle is solid.

Nice to have more oil cooler options. Agree that a duct would make it more effective, considering the engine in this car is a mild 3.0 it's probably not critical in this case..

That's an RSR cooler in the comparison above (not RS)?

What do you do about the m30 (hard line) to m22 (cooler inlet/outlet) reduction?
It's about 30% smaller - does oil pressure increase a ton?
Looks fantastic, fits just right.. I really want to run this thing

The popular Setrab coolers have M22 ports in them and nobody's ever complained about those coolers being restrictive. The old Mazda RX-7 coolers that people have adapted to the old 911 have even smaller ports. Some people interested in following that RX-7 cooler lead have expressed concern about the small ports creating a restriction. Doesn't seem to be an issue because the RX-7 cooler has proven to be a very good, inexpensive solution to lowering oil temperature and no problems caused by the small ports.

Yeah, after a little research I'm going to give it a go.
Cohline doesn't offer an m30 to 22 coupler, but like most things in life, there's a Porsche part number for that. I'll run a pair of 999 136 045 09, the Cohline m30 swivel nuts and nipples, and the stainless oil line with the orange tracer from the place in AZ with all the Cohline stuff.
