A/C Component rebuild referrals?
Does anyone have a recommended shop/company that rebuilds/refreshes A/C components? (Compressors, condenser...)
I plan on using Griffiths kit but thought I'd refresh all the parts I'm not using anyway incase someone is looking for OEM. |

Just finished my rebuild with help from a couple friends. I went ahead and pretty much tossed everything except the rear condenser. The replacement is very expensive and no different in design so I had mine pressure tested and then cleaned per Griffiths recommendation. Astounding how much crap came out during the cleaning. I don't think you gain much in dollars by getting the compressor rebuilt versus buying new. So far very happy with the cold air I am seeing. But then we've only seen near 90 degrees in the Texas hill country.
