San Diego - 3.2 or SC w/ M&K or Dansk Sport Exhaust

Anyone in the SD metro area with a 3.2 or SC that has a 1 in 1 out SPORT exhaust?

Preferably (but not a requirement) with:

• Stock engine
• Cat in place

Interested in hearing what it sounds like in person and ....perhaps a ride along to experience. My goal is to find a little more growl from my '86 3.2, but not too loud. This is a daily driver and I take it on 1000+ mile road trips several times a year, so I don't want it too loud at highway speed and also avoid drone. Preferably I am interested in finding an exhaust that comes alive during spirited driving.

Also, in keeping as close to original on the car, at this time a 2 out exhaust is not in the cards.

I have a Dynomax 17676 setup, all stock including a cat if you're interested.

Here is a pic. I just smogged it today with a new cat. We have the tail pipe come right through the bumper, but you can just as easily have it come down to the corner.

3.4L with the Dansk Sport, single in/out. Ive tried a Monty, M&K, Bursch and the Dansk.

Wish I were closer (LA), I have a M&K 1 in/out with cat in place and I love it. Does exactly what you’re looking for. Little louder at idle, burbles real nice while cruising, really growls when you give it heck. Very, very daily-able and comes alive when you ask it to.

I guess a Dansk 1 in 1 out with 84mm tip is the one for you if you wish to retain the OE look with a little growl and still air cooled sounding or the M&K 1 in 1 out.

... and the entire muffler installed weighs about 12 pounds and will last the life of your 911.

Comb YouTube. My buddy got a 2/2 M&K and it is nice & deep. I watched a lot of YouTube 2/2 comparisons and the Dansk consistently had a higher pitch. M&K has the ability to customize and Dansk is a big corporation. I have a 2/1 Dansk and my M&K 2/2 is going on after cam degree adjust.

It is all about the sound when exiting the factory CAT system. M&K had a much better deep tone for me. Make yourself happy.
