Heater Control Panel Question

I need to buy a heater control panel because the PO broke a big chunk out of it trying to install the radio. What a mess. Anyways, I was on pelican parts and they list a couple of differences in years.

Dashboard Heater Control Panel, 911 (1974-77)
C-613-111-03 $494.20

Dashboard Heater Control Panel, 911 (1978-85)
C-613-111-08 $549.00

My car is a 75 but it seems I have a handle on an 84. Can someone tell me what the differences were between these two year sets. Will the later one work on the earlier one.

Thanks for the help,

I would think you would want to sketch what is left of yours and find that item in a wrecking yard. I can't comment on interchangability and I'd have to say it is a stretch for me to span two separate sets of years for differences. Maybe someone else can comment.

But for sure, I wouldn't just go purchase something that is useless for your car since there seemed to be so many changes (A/C made a difference: do you have A/C?). Look at what you've got and start combing the classifieds or put a Wanted to Buy item in there.
