Beru connectors will ultimately be trouble down the road...Magnacor will not...

Building your own wires is great. As long as you've got a good crimper (there's some seriously cheap and useless ones out there and you should use the proper type of crimper as well), and you're careful cutting the wire, you're gold. Problem is, if you decided to go with all new Beru spark plug ends at $25 ea. you'd be close to the cost of a set of Magnecor wires. Of course you can check the resistance of your Berus and see if they're still good. I think the resistance spec. is printed on the connector itself. Those on my 87's old wires say 3 kilo ohms I believe. Still, the Beru connector has been known to go bad on occasion so it'd be good to keep a spare one handy in the garage.

Here's the specs. of the Magnecor wires (7mm Electrosports, 8mm Electrosports, KV-85 Competition & R-100 Race):

Here's their current USA catalog and pricing. By the way, Pelican sells the KV-85's. 7mm Electrosports 70 series wire set is about $20 cheaper than the 8.5mm wires.

The above catalog has wire set listings (7, 8, 8.5mm) for all types of vehicles. Catalog also contains listings of bulk wire, terminals, ends, boots, etc. If you'd like to build your own wires, you can do so with Magnecor materials.

Adobe Acrobat rocks.

I think they make 7mm also ( anyone confirm?) and that would be the ticket in my book.

Yes they make 7mm
