My seats are to soft.
I have redone my 68 seats. New foam but when you sit in them your on the floor. The springs are done after 50 years. Thoughts on a fix. Remove the springs and fill the cage with a foam block ??
Add foam to the springs ??? Thoughts Thanks Lyndon

It seems to be like you answered the problem...I would go with new springs, if you add more foam, it will still be low and you will be sitting on the ground. Order new springs and see how they are when you first get them....you should be able to tell immediately the difference from a 50 year old worn spring to new springs --simply put some new foam on them as soon as you get it--nothing permanent as this point and see the difference. test it first before you go all in with the installation.

Fixed. My local trim shop has springs for 55 bucks. Over 400 del from lakwells. Screwed them in. Perfect cheap fix.

To rebuild your seats properly takes more than foam and helper springs. The tie down of the springs is gone as well the stuffing in the springs. Back in the day early 356 & 911 seats had alot of shape and support .
