SF Bay Area Windshield Recommendation

Can anyone recommend an affordable place to get my windshield replaced in the San Francisco Bay Area? The best quote that I got thus far is $1150!!! I think I'll go with domestic glass as this board like that so much.

Mahalo in advance!

Call John at Independent Glass - (408) 504-9803. He comes to your site and does the work there. Replaced my pitted windshield with OE glass for under $950.

Don Wise, my mech at CT Automotive in Campbell (408) 377-3885, may have other recommendations too.

I used

Cali Auto Glass
15365 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill, CA 95037
(408) 776-0746

and they replaced the front windshield in my race car for $180

Jim,

Why is it so inexpensive there? Would you have them replace the windshield on your daily driver 911 as well? If you have one that is.

Thanks.

Parts Heaven has new aftermarket ones for about $150 -- or at least they did when I blew my windshield out at Thunderhill a little less than a year ago.
