What parts for clutch rebuild
Hi,
My clutch is on its last leg (vibration in first under low rpms) and i plan to fix it over the winter. Is there a list of parts or kit that one can buy? Doing search yields so many results that it gets confusing quite fast for me. I'm changing the shifter bushings as it has a lot of play but is there a specific sign of a worn clutch? My car has been sitting for 5 years, I don't know if the clutch was ever changed. Thank you.

I suggest the Sachs clutch kit which includeds:
Clutch Disk Pressure Plate Throw Out Bearing and Guide Tube. Not included: New Bolts for Pressure Plate Pilot Bearing and 3 Set Screws Most important inner guide tube Seal ( not sure if PP fixed this but in the past you had to find it under engine parts ) for safe measures get the outer o-ring for the guide tube Tools: Get clutch disk the alignment tool so you can install the pressure plate without cursing. ![]() Maching: You should consider resurfacing the flywheel, yes it needs to be removed to do this. Please note the clutch disk is not made same as OEM, they have determined we need less clutch material. Post a pic of the Fork's condition, if worn, you should replace. and it's dust guards on the shaft.
